Golden Purges

The Golden Purges were political 'house-clearings' of many high to mid level nobles, and beauracrats, during the early years of Tsarina Yevpraksiya's reign. At their height, it is guessed that nearly a million people were sentanced to death in reprisal for their disloyalty and perhaps even sedition towards the newly crowned Tsarina.
